I have Levels 1, 2, & 3 Nutrition Coaching certifications through a program called Metabolic Effect. My style of coaching includes hearing your nutrition goals/desires, personal activity level, and current diet, and making changes gradually over time to help you learn to “crack the code” of your own personal metabolism.
Each of our metabolisms works uniquely. I don’t believe in giving a “one-size-fits-all” plan for all of my clients, because we are each different. I also don’t believe in the “eat less exercise more” approach to weight loss. Nutrition is so much more than the numbers of calories we eat, but rather the messages those calories are sending to our bodies via our hormonal response. We have to learn to manage calories but also balance our hormones. My desire is for something much more long-term, sustainable, and flexible for your lifestyle.
My desire is to help you figure out what works best for you for fat loss. Notice I don’t say weight loss, but rather fat loss. There IS a difference. You may not lose weight at all but find that you are more energized, your cravings are under control, you never get ravenously hungry anymore, and your clothes fit a little better. When your hunger, energy, and craving levels are in check, plus you are experiencing fat loss, then we’ve cracked the code to your metabolism. I want to help you get there.
